Chiquillada / Childishness

Lápices de colores / Color pencils

Chiquillada

caracoles y ranas y niños a jugar,
el viento empuja botecitos de estraza.
Lindo haberlo vivido pa' poderlo contar.

Pantalón ...

Chiquillada, chiquillada, chiquillada...

Childishness

With five socks we made the ball
and we lost that nap for one goal
a stray little dog became the pet
of the winner team

Short trousers
little bag of memories
short trousers
with only one brace

Grandpa says that on windy days

little angels come from the sun
and they dance wiht the kites
early sky flowers
canes and color paper

Short trousers...

Half of a cracker thats splits the pocket,

fishing rod, sparrow little jumps,
the kids of the neighbourhood
 when the sun is burning
run to the pond

Short trousers...

I do not understand what do my neighbours want ,

we never do bad things, and they complain about everything.
The street is a free zone if we want
to run along with our hoops.

Short trousers...

Big marble, king of the sidewalk,

I swear I will not give you even if the thug wins,
two of my milk teeth I have lost for you, fatty,
and my mum gave me a good hiding,
but you are mine at last.

Short trousers...

There is a party at the ponds when the rain ends,
snails, and frogs, and kids go to play.
The wind blows paper boats...
What a nice memory to sing along!

Short trousers...

Childishness, childishness, childishness...
